The frost comes so...Your Canna's are gorgeous. The frost comes so early here, that Canna's don't have much of a chance unless they are in their own little micro-climate. It's way too open where my flower beds lie. <br />I'll bet your smoked goodies were wonderful. We have ribs and bacon in the brine now, and will smoke them tomorrow. I will let you know how they turn out.<br />Also, the carrots were cool and WOW on the Butternut Squash. We had one tonight that the deer took a nip out of and also a small Buttercup, my favorite winter squash. I nuked it whole for 1/2 an hour after piercing a few holes in them.
